रुद्रप्रयाग। आज शनिवार दोपहर बाद उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत की गाड़ी पर अचानक पत्थर गिरने से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई। उनके साथ कार में सवार भाजपा विधायक भरत सिंह चौधरी और कांग्रेस विधायक मनोज रावत भी सड़क हादसे का शिकार होने से बाल-बाल बच गये। घटना की सूचना से पुलिस प्रशासन में हड़कंप मचा है।
मिली जानकारी के अनुसार उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत, विधायक भरत सिंह चौधरी और केदारनाथ से कांग्रेस विधायक मनोज रावत गंगाधर मैठाणी राजकीय महाविद्यालय गुप्तकाशी विद्यापीठ में एक कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने के लिये गये थे। कार्यक्रम समाप्ति के बाद जब वह वापस अगस्त्यमुनि लौट रहे थे तो सरकारी इनोवा में उनके साथ भाजपा से रुद्रप्रयाग विधायक भरत सिंह चौधरी एवं कांग्रेस के केदारनाथ विधायक मनोज रावत भी बैठे थे। इसी दौरान केदारनाथ हाईवे पर बांसवाड़ा के पास अचानक बड़ा पत्थर गिरने से उनकी गाड़ी क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई। पत्थर बोनट पर गिरने से वे तीनों बाल-बाल बच गये। हादसे में मंत्री धन सिंह रावत की गाड़ी को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा है।
गौरतलब है कि केदारनाथ हाईवे पर बांसवाड़ा क्षेत्र एक संवेदनशील इलाका है। जहां आये दिन पत्थर गिरने जैसी घटनाएं होती रहती हैं। डॉ. धन सिंह रावत उच्च शिक्षा मंत्री के साथ ही रुद्रप्रयाग और चमोली जिले के प्रभारी मंत्री भी हैं। पुलिस प्रशासन भी इस घटना से सकते में है।
